Danika Sommer

Hi! I’m originally from Utah, where I studied cell and molecular biology as well as chemistry at the University of Utah.

I have a background in brain cancer research working with teams at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah and Columbia Irving Medical Center in NYC.

I’m particularly interested in the underlying mechanism through which protein and RNA molecules exhibit function-I’m excited to grow and contribute in these fields in the Zaccara lab!
